Our Cardiologists
Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum
Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum is an attending cardiologist, specializing in prevention. She is in private practice in New York City, and is the CEO of Heart-Tech Health, a technology solution for a personalized lifestyle management program helping women reach ultimate cardiovascular health. Dr. Steinbaum had been the Director of Women's Cardiovascular Prevention, Health and Wellness at Mt. Sinai Heart in New York City, after being the Director of Women’s Heart Health at Northwell Lenox Hill. She is the author of Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum’s Heart Book: Every Woman’s Guide to a Heart Healthy Life. She has been awarded a New York Times Super Doctor, a Castle and Connolly Top Doctor for Cardiovascular Disease and New York Magazine’s prestigious Best Doctors in the New York edition.
Dr. Lara Oboler
Dr. Lara Oboler has been practicing cardiology for 20 years. She has been a clinical cardiologist dealing with all aspects of cardiovascular disease from prevention, early diagnosis, to comprehensive treatment strategies. Her focus is on ensuring care is catered to the individual patient and that communication is a focal point of the doctor-patient relationship. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Tufts University, she attended George Washington Medical school in Washington DC. Dr. Oboler is Triple Boarded and completed her Internal Medicine Residency, Cardiology Fellowship, and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City. She Co-Chairs the GW Medical School Board of Advisors as well as sits on the President’s Council at Tufts University.

Eduardo J. Cabrita
Echo Tech
RCS, RVS. Dual registered in cardiac and vascular ultrasound. Eddie has been in the ultrasound field since 1997. Registered through Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer and a Registered Vascular Specialist. Eddie brings his amazing skills and talents, as well as a little bit of laughter!
Rachel Parker
Physicians Assistant
Rachel helps to coordinate and facilitate patient care. She first met Dr. Steinbaum and Dr. Oboler while working at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Steinbaum and Rachel later both found themselves at Beth Israel then Mt. SInai, after which Rachel followed Dr. Steinbaum into private practice.
Sthefanie Severino
Medical Assistant
Sthefanie is in charge of preparing treatment rooms for clinical examinations, assisting with medical procedures and other patient care, collecting patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality. Sthefanie has been in the medical field for eight years and has been with Dr. Steinbaum since 2018.
